Guidelines on the summary of resolution plans

Executive Summary

Reasons for publication

The resolution plan shall provide for the resolution actions that the resolution authority may take where the CCP meets the conditions for resolution referred to in Article 22 of CCPRRR. However, the key elements of the plan shall be disclosed to the CCP through a summary of the resolution plan.

In accordance with Article 12(7)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2021/23 (CPPRRR) the resolution plan shall include a summary of the key elements of the plan, distinguishing between default events, non-default events and a combination of the two. In accordance with Article 12(8) of CPPRRR the information in the summary shall be disclosed to the CCP concerned. The CCP may express its opinion in writing on the resolution plan to the resolution authority and that opinion shall be included in the plan.
