Kokot Paweł, Legitimization of the Polish legal system during the transformation period from the perspective of axiological (ideological) argumentation

There is no doubt about the fact that the transformation in the Republic of Poland was an extraordinary process. It is clear that the final destruction of the political system of the Polish People's Republic and – on the other hand – construction of a new state required many complicated operations on the national scale. On the other hand, the collapse of the Polish People's Republic was inevitable. It was because an unreal vision of a socialist welfare could not stand because of the growing internal crisis as well as the determination and strength of political opposition, consistently fighting for freedom against many repressions from the authorities.

The transformation of the state system may be conducted only when simultaneous change of the legal system is carried out. After all, it is the legal system which is the ordered set of legal norms that determine the organization and actions of the state.
