Jankowska Marlena, Ghostwriting revisited

This paper tries to concisely explain how to use copyright paradigms while discussing the ghostwriting issue. It aims to group together relevant material concerning ghostwriting, and in particular presents a philosophical background for the transferable bond between an author and his work, explains the wider understanding of the ghostwriting phenomenon, sheds some light on various constructions that have been applied in the copyright laws of selected countries, and tries to find out whether there is a place in Polish copyright law for ghostwriting, even if only to a certain degree. Therefore, this paper takes a comprehensive look at the application of various legal interpretations concerning ghostwriting in selected legal systems in order to explore it from the standpoint of Polish law .
