24th Annual Fordham Intellectual Property Law & Policy Conference, 31 March - 1 April 2016, New York City - Conference report

As has become traditional for this time of the year, the Fordham IP Conference took place on 31 March and 1 April 2016. The prominent building on 62nd Street in Manhattan was for the 24th time the main setting for impassioned talks and discussions from IP scholars and experts. The Fordham IP Conference is well known for its wholehearted and fervent debates that yield thought-provoking and cutting-edge ideas as well as forcing very prominent speakers to defend their jurisprudence ideas which may be just, even if not necessarily supported by the legislator. This gives rise to the leitmotif of the annual meeting, the slogan „Learn, Debate, Have Fun!”. As always, the conference drew many participants from all over the world, from LA to Sydney. The event is made possible due to the engagement of Professor Hugh C. Hansen, Director of Fordham IP Institute, whose approach and IP passion make scholars impatiently await this event each year.
